Occasionally someone you want to receive email from might be on a server that has a bad reputation for sending spam. This is called a false-positive, when a user is flagged as a spammer, when it's not his/her fault their ISP is blacklisted.
If you have received a complaint that a friend cannot send you an email because they are blocked, you can fix that.
1. Note the domain of the email is question. Jim@yourdomain.com, for example...the domain is yourdomain.com
2. Log into the control panel for the domain associated with the email address in question. Example: http://yourdomain.com:2082
3. In the Cpanel, locate the "Mail" category and choose the link for the "Mail Scanner"
4. In the Mail Scanner interface, click the link to the "Whitelist/Blacklist" tool.
5. Add the email address you wish to receive email from in the whitelist box, and save the setting.
You should not be able to receive email from that email address.
